Softball Recap: Davis Takes a Loss

Davis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 23-3 to the Eastmont Wildcats. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 21-0 on Friday.

Davis saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Isabel Rosas, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double. That hit was Rosas' first of the season.

Davis' defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Eastmont, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-2.

Davis wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 22-2 loss against Sunnyside on the 8th. As for Eastmont, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 9-5 defeat against Issaquah on the 5th.
