Basketball Game Preview: St. Francis DeSales Stallions vs. Bishop Hartley Hawks

The St. Francis DeSales Stallions will venture away from home to take on the Bishop Hartley Hawks at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. St. Francis DeSales has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Last Friday, St. Francis DeSales was able to grind out a solid win over Bishop Watterson, taking the game 56-49.

Meanwhile, Bishop Hartley fought the good fight in their overtime matchup against Groveport-Madison on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took an 82-75 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cruisers. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Hawks came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 12th, while the Cruisers are ranked 91st).

St. Francis DeSales is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season. As for Bishop Hartley, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-4.

St. Francis DeSales couldn't quite finish off Bishop Hartley in their previous meeting back in January and fell 69-67. Can St. Francis DeSales avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
