Dyer County hadn't done well against Lexington recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. Dyer County blew past Lexington 11-1. The win was nothing new for the Choctaws as they're now sitting on eight straight.

Kierstyn Ray was a standout: she scored four runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2.1 runs per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Evie Rogers, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.

Dyer County was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .464. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .395 or higher in four consecutive matchups.

Dyer County pushed their record up to 8-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 7.2 runs. As for Lexington, their loss dropped their record down to 12-6-1.
