There's no place like home for Caney Valley, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Southeast Lancers a 10-0 shutout on Friday. Considering the Bullpups have won nine matchups by more than eight runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Caney Valley is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.7 runs over those games. As for Southeast, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-10.

Caney Valley didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 10-0 victory against Southeast on the 9th. The Lancers does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
