Softball Recap: Desert Vista's Luck Takes a Turn for the Worse on Thursday

Desert Vista dropped their record down to 23-6 on Thursday, which also ended the team's eight-game streak of wins. They lost 14-4 to the Basha Bears. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Desert Vista saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Thailee Jones, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one RBI.

As for Basha, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 23-4. The result was nothing new for the Bears, who have now won 13 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

On Basha's side, they got a massive performance out of Morgan Bragg, who went 1-for-3 with one home run and four RBI. That's the most RBI Bragg has posted since back in March. Kendall Bragg also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

As of now, neither Desert Vista nor Basha have any future games scheduled.
