Soccer Recap: Kingwood Park's Loss Ends Five-Game Winning Streak on the Road

After flying high against West Fork last Saturday, Kingwood Park came back down to earth. The Kingwood Park Panthers fell just short of the Dayton Broncos by a score of 4-3 on Tuesday. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Panthers came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 96th, while the Broncos are ranked 429th).

Kingwood Park's defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 15-3. As for Dayton, their victory bumped their record up to 9-6.

Looking ahead, Kingwood Park will welcome Porter at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Porter will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Kingwood Park surely won't give up without a fight. As for Dayton, they will head out to take on Pasadena at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
