Volleyball Recap: Hamden Green Dragons vs. Foran Lions
Hamden lost against Foran back in September, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Hamden Green Dragons lost 3-0 to the Foran Lions. The Green Dragons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-18, 25-15.
Despite the loss, Hamden still got an impressive performance from Kerlin Duran, who had 12 digs.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Foran to victory, but perhaps none more so than Gracie Brooks, who had 12 digs, eight kills, and two aces. That's the most aces Brooks has posted since back in September. The team also got some help courtesy of Nyah Boromei, who had two aces and a block.
Hamden's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-6. As for Foran, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 12-1.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hamden will face off against Shelton at 5:45 p.m. on Friday. As for Foran, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Guilford at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
