Cranston West won the last time they faced Lincoln and things went their way  on Thursday too. The Falcons' pitcher stepped up to hand the Lions  a   1-0 shutout. The  win was a breath of fresh air for the Falcons as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.
The result came thanks to  Logan Taylor's shutout, as he gave up just three  hits.
 On the hitting side, Cranston West's victory was truly a team effort as three different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was  Chris Barboza, who  went 1-for-3 with one  stolen base.
Cranston West's win bumped their record up to 6-10. As for Lincoln, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-10.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cranston West will host Moses Brown  at 10:00  a.m.  on Saturday. As for Lincoln, they will welcome Central  at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. The Knights will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  victory, something the Lions surely won't give up without a fight.
