Basketball Recap: Franklin Comes Up Short

Franklin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They took a 64-54 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Webster Schroeder Warriors. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Franklin's loss dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Webster Schroeder, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Franklin will welcome McQuaid Jesuit at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Webster Schroeder, they will look to defend their home court on Monday against Aquinas Institute at 7:15 p.m.
