Soccer Game Preview: Crystal Springs vs. Puckett

The Crystal Springs Tigers will venture away from home to challenge the Puckett Wolves at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Crystal Springs' offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for 11 straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Crystal Springs managed to keep up with Magee until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Tigers lost 5-0 to the Trojans. Crystal Springs fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against Magee since Thursday.

Meanwhile, after soaring to 11 goals the game before, Puckett was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They came up short against McLaurin, falling 5-0. Puckett haven't had much luck with McLaurin recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Puckett now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Crystal Springs, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-11.

Crystal Springs might still be hurting after the 7-0 loss they got from Puckett when the teams last played back in December of 2025. Can the Tigers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
