Soccer Recap: Humble Comes Up Short

Humble was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against the Summer Creek Bulldogs, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 670th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 78th).

Humble's loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Summer Creek, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 16-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Humble will square off against Goose Creek Memorial at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Summer Creek, they will host Kingwood at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Summer Creek is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 5 goals per game this season.
