Baseball Recap: Edison Comes Up Short

After flying high against Lathrop last Tuesday, Edison came back down to earth. The Edison Vikings came up short against the Franklin Yellowjackets on Thursday, falling 10-0. The game marked the first time this year in which the Vikings were not able to get on the board.

Edison's loss dropped their record down to 3-3-1. As for Franklin, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Edison will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Weston Ranch at 6:30 p.m. on March 26th. As for Franklin, they will hit the road for the first time this season to square off against San Lorenzo Valley at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Franklin is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.1 runs per game this season.
