Volleyball Game Preview: Kennedy Cougars vs. West Park Panthers + How To Watch

The Kennedy Cougars will square off against the West Park Panthers at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Kennedy has struggled recently with five losses in a row, while West Park will arrive with three straight wins.

It was a proper cat-fight when Kennedy took on McClatchy on Tuesday. The Cougars lost 3-0 to the Lions.

Kennedy was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made McClatchy work for it, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-14, 26-24, 25-20.

Meanwhile, West Park made easy work of Antelope on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-16, 25-8.

West Park's win bumped their record up to 16-4. As for Kennedy, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 6-15.

Kennedy suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to West Park in their previous meeting back in October of 2024. Can the Cougars avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
