Baseball Recap: Army-Navy Comes Up Short

After soaring to 12 runs the game before, Army-Navy was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Coastal Academy Stingrays. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Stingrays apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Army-Navy saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nolan Mandell, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Army-Navy now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Coastal Academy, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 2-0.

Looking ahead, Army-Navy will head out to take on Crawford at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Coastal Academy, they will be playing at home against Liberty Charter at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
