Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask West). They were the clear victors by a 16-9 margin over the Foothill Trojans on Tuesday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Vikings as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

West's win bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Foothill, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-5.

Coming up, West will square off against South at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games South has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Foothill, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 21-11 defeat against Rosamond on the 27th.
