Softball Recap: Cape Henry Collegiate Takes a Loss

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three contests, Cape Henry Collegiate finally came back down to earth on Thursday. They lost 18-0 to the Nansemond-Suffolk Academy Saints. The game marked the first time this season in which the Dolphins were not able to get on the board.

Cape Henry Collegiate moved to 7-3 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Nansemond-Suffolk Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cape Henry Collegiate will face off against Norfolk Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Nansemond-Suffolk Academy, they will take on Brunswick Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
