On Saturday Jayden Lawrence struck out eight batters over three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off three hits (and not a single walk). The performance also marked the fewest walks (zero) Lawrence has had since back in February. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his seventh in a row with less than one earned run. For the year, he has an ERA of 1.17 over 30 innings pitched.
