Softball Recap: Lee Comes Up Short

Lee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 10-9 heartbreaker at the hands of the West Brook Bruins.

Jordand Findlay led a balanced group of hitters, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Tara Archibald, who scored a run while going 2-for-5.

Lee's loss dropped their record down to 1-9-1. As for West Brook, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-9 record this season.

Lee will venture away from home to take on Johnson at 7:00 p.m. on March 18th. As for West Brook, they will face off against Sterling at 6:00 p.m. on March 18th. Sterling has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.56 runs per game on average), something West Brook will no doubt try to take advantage of.
