Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mediapolis). They blew past the Hillcrest Academy Ravens 16-1 on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won six games by six runs or more so far this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Mediapolis and bumps their season record up to 8-1. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Hillcrest Academy, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Looking ahead, Mediapolis will head out to challenge Highland at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Huskies will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight. As for Hillcrest Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Lone Tree at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Lions have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.57 runs per game on average), something the Ravens will no doubt try to take advantage of.
