Basketball Recap: Parkway Panthers vs. St. Henry Redskins

Parkway lost against St. Henry back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Parkway Panthers fell 44-34 to the St. Henry Redskins. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Leading St. Henry to victory were Austin Zimmerman and Keith Siefring. Zimmerman went 6 of 10 en route to 19 points and seven rebounds, while Siefring posted eight points and five steals. Those 19 points gave Zimmerman a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Carson Harrod, who earned four points.

Parkway's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for St. Henry, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Parkway won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against South Adams at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for St. Henry, they and Van Wert will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played.
