Basketball Game Preview: Swansea Tigers vs. Fox Creek Predators

The Swansea Tigers will face off against the Fox Creek Predators at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Swansea is looking for their season's first win.

Swansea came up into this matchup off a tough 90-point defeat last Friday. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Silver Bluff by a score of 47-45 on Wednesday. While the Tigers didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Bulldogs 12-8 in the first quarter.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Zyshawn Jamison, who posted 18 points. That was a full 40% of Swansea's points, marking the tenth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Another player making a difference was Donnell Goodwin, who put up 12 points.

Meanwhile, Fox Creek entered their match against Keenan on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Fox Creek took a 56-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of Keenan.

Fox Creek's loss dropped their record down to 15-10. As for Swansea, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-17.

Swansea was taken down by Fox Creek 103-40 in their previous meeting two weeks ago. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Swansea was down 51-20.
