Basketball Recap: Cedar Vale/Dexter Comes Up Short

After flying high against Copan last Monday, Cedar Vale/Dexter came back down to earth. The Cedar Vale/Dexter Spartans fell just short of the Wesleyan Christian Mustangs by a score of 39-36 on Thursday. The loss was the Spartans' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Cedar Vale/Dexter fell to 2-1. As for Wesleyan Christian, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Cedar Vale/Dexter will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Central at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Wesleyan Christian, they will be home for the holidays to greet Copan at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
