The Noblesville Millers will take on the Franklin Central Flashes at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Noblesville got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Meredith Tippner out in front who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 18 rebounds. Ava Shoemaker was another key contributor, scoring 19 points along with eight steals and five rebounds.
Meanwhile, Franklin Central didn't have too much breathing room in their match against Plainfield on Tuesday, but they still walked away with a 41-36 win.
Noblesville is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 12-8 record this season. As for Franklin Central, their win bumped their record up to 11-7.
Noblesville took their win against Franklin Central when the teams last played back in January of 2023 by a conclusive 66-40. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was Franklin Central's Abby Steinhofer, who scored 14 points.
