Basketball Game Preview: McKeesport Tigers vs. Uniontown Red Raiders

The McKeesport Tigers will venture away from home to take on the Uniontown Red Raiders at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Uniontown took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on McKeesport, who comes in off a win.

McKeesport is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 65-63 win over Shady Side Academy on Saturday.

Meanwhile, Uniontown had to suffer through a 71-44 loss at the hands of Aliquippa. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Red Raiders came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 17th, while the Quips are ranked 160th).

Uniontown's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3. As for McKeesport, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.
