Basketball Recap: Madelia Takes a Loss

Madelia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 61-40 to the Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop Thunderbirds. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Thunderbirds this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 64-53 back in January.

Madelia's loss dropped their record down to 5-25. As for Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop, their win bumped their record up to 5-22.

As of now, neither Madelia nor Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop have any future games scheduled.
