Volleyball Recap: Mayfield Comes Up Short

Mayfield suffered their biggest loss since September 16th on Wednesday. They came up short against the Broadalbin-Perth Patriots, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Panthers in their meetings with the Patriots: they've now lost seven in a row.

The final score came out to 25-19, 25-14, 25-17.

Mayfield's loss dropped their record down to 3-8-3. As for Broadalbin-Perth, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-7 record this season.

Mayfield wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Berne-Knox-Westerlo on the 25th. As for Broadalbin-Perth, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Tamarac on the 27th.
