Who's got the ultimate bragging rights when it comes to sending players to the NFL from the high school ranks in Hawaii?

To find out, MaxPreps and Lateral Sports teamed up and found the alma mater of every player on an NFL roster as of opening day (we included suspended and injured reserve players). Then we broke it all down by state and came up with the table below.

You will find that Hawaii has sent 11 players to the league this season, and that two schools share the claim to having produced the most of those players. St. Louis and Punahou each claim three players.

Want some more fun facts? How about these:

- The New Orleans Saints are the only NFL team with multiple Hawaii players, with two.

- Two of the 11 players get to play their pro ball as close as possible to Hawaii, with DeForest Buckner in San Francisco and Manti Te'o in San Diego.

- Ka'imi Fairbairn and DeForest Buckner were Punahou High teammates as seniors in 2011. That team went 9-2 and was ranked second in the state.

- If you're looking for future NFL talent in Hawaii, look at the linebacker position. Five of the 11 play in that spot.
