Soccer Game Preview: New Albany vs. New Hope

The New Albany Bulldogs will square off against the New Hope Trojans at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. New Albany is coming into the game hot, having won their last six games.

Two weeks ago, everything went New Albany's way against South Pontotoc as New Albany made off with a 9-1 win. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by four goals or more this season.

Meanwhile, New Hope fell victim to Lafayette and their airtight defense on Thursday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Commodores. The Trojans have struggled against the Commodores recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

New Albany is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-3-1 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 40 goals over those eight games. As for New Hope, they now have a losing record at 7-8.
