Basketball Recap: Kofa Kings vs. Washington Rams
The Kofa Kings won the last time they faced the Washington Rams, and things went their way on Thursday too. Kofa took down the Rams 70-54. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Kofa.
Kofa was led to victory by Calvin Barber and Elijah Braveheart. Barber dropped a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds, while Braveheart dropped a double-double on 22 points and 14 rebounds. Braveheart hasn't dropped below eight rebounds for 14 straight games. Emmanuel Ramirez was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Kofa's win bumped their record up to 10-12. As for Washington, their loss dropped their record down to 7-15.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kofa will square off against the Hawks at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Washington, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against the Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on February 2nd. Independence is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last five games.
