Gia Smith Game Report: vs Cordova

Kennedy had to settle for second on Tuesday, but Gia Smith sure wasn't going down easily. Smith turned in her biggest game of the season, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Kennedy Cougars challenge McClatchy Lions at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. McClatchy will enter the matchup having just beaten West Park, so Kennedy will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
