On Friday, Bowling Green faced Warren Central in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Bowling Green Purples sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 61-59 victory over the Warren Central Dragons. The win was nothing new for the Purples as they're now sitting on three straight.

The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.6 points over those games. As for Warren Central, their loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 7-1 and their overall record down to 23-6.
