Glynn Academy posted their closest win since September 18th on Friday. They won by a set and slipped past the Evans Knights 2-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-1 back in August.

Glynn Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 25-15, 15-9.

Jocelyn Jackson paced Glynn Academy's offense, picking up 12 kills. Jackson got some help from Laura Beth (Elby) Baldridge and her 28 assists. Jackson also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Natalie Koncul, each putting up three.

Glynn Academy has been performing well recently as they've won 21 of their last 27 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-13 record this season. As for Evans, they dropped their record down to 7-25 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.
