Soccer Recap: Douglas County Comes Up Short

Douglas County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Newnan Cougars, falling 10-0. That's two games in a row now that Douglas County have lost by exactly ten goals.

Douglas County's loss dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Newnan, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Douglas County will be playing in front of their home fans against Sprayberry at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Newnan, they will head out on the road to face off against Northside at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Newnan will need to watch out since Northside has now posted at least four goals in their last three matchups.
