Soccer Recap: Ball Comes Up Short

Ball was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Iowa Colony Pioneers, falling 6-0.

Ball was without their leading scorer, Maria Flores, in Friday's contest. With Flores sidelined, Sophia Diaz got her first action of the season.

Ball's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Iowa Colony, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Looking ahead, Ball will challenge La Porte at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Iowa Colony, they will welcome Santa Fe at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Santa Fe will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Iowa Colony surely won't give up without a fight.
