Softball Recap: River Takes a Loss

River fell victim to Frontier and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 14-0 to the Cougars. The Pilots have struggled against the Cougars recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

River's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Frontier, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 11-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. River will square off against Monroe Central at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Frontier, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bridgeport at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Cougars are on a four-game streak of home wins, the Bulldogs a five-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.
