Volleyball Recap: Coral Academy of Science - Reno Comes Up Short

Coral Academy of Science - Reno was the 3-1 winner over Oasis Academy when they last played one another back in September, but their luck changed this time around. The Falcons lost 3-0 to the Bighorns on Friday. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Coral Academy of Science - Reno ultimately came up short, they really made Oasis Academy work, particularly in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 26-24, 25-20.

Carla Garcia paced Coral Academy of Science - Reno's offense, picking up four kills. Garcia got some help from Lexi Johnson and her nine assists. Garcia was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Coral Academy of Science - Reno's loss dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Oasis Academy, they moved to 5-17 with that victory, which also ended their seven-match losing streak.

As of now, neither Coral Academy of Science - Reno nor the Bighorns have any future games scheduled.
