Allen put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Plano Wildcats 56-0. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked second, while the Wildcats are ranked 141st) , the win wasn't entirely unexpected.

Allen was led to victory by Lyndon Spriggs and Jeremiah Daoud. Spriggs rushed for 131 yards and a pair of TDs on only 15 carries, while Daoud threw for 265 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 12.0 yards per attempt. Those 131 rushing yards gave Spriggs a new career-high. Carter Harris also helped out with an impressive 94 receiving yards.

Allen's win bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Plano, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Looking ahead, Allen will challenge McKinney at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Plano, they will take on Princeton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Wildcats will be up against the Panthers' rather soft defense (which has allowed 39 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
