Volleyball Recap: Deer Park Deer vs. Clear Springs Chargers

Deer Park suffered their biggest defeat since September 6th on Friday. They lost 3-0 to the Clear Springs Chargers. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Deer haven't been shut out since back in September.

While Deer Park was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 25-19, 25-21.

Erin Goodson and Emery Parham certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Goodson had 26 digs, while Parham had 13 digs. Goodson has been hot for a while, having posted 13 or more digs the last 14 times she's played.

Clear Springs was led to victory by Lianna Kearns and Taylor Tolleson. Kearns had 16 digs, while Tolleson had ten digs, two aces, and a kill.

Deer Park's loss dropped their record down to 20-20. As for Clear Springs, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 27-15 record this season.
