Baseball Recap: Josh Adler Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Harper Woods

Royal Oak's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They never let the Harper Woods Pioneers get on the board and left with a 15-0 win. The Ravens haven't had any issues with the Pioneers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Jack Groya made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out nine over four innings pitched. Groya was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season.

In other batting news, Josh Adler was a standout: he scored two runs while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances. He also put up a double, which was his first of the season.
