Soccer Recap: Scottsboro Takes a Loss

Scottsboro was the 2-1 winner over Boaz when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Scottsboro Wildcats took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Boaz Pirates on Tuesday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Scottsboro's loss dropped their record down to 3-6-3. As for Boaz, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3-4 record this season.

Scottsboro will square off against Wren at 6:40 p.m. on Friday. As for Boaz, they will challenge Crossville at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday.
