Viera typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday Hagerty proved too difficult a challenge. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-1 victory over the Hawks. That's more bragging rights for the Huskies, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Alexis Williamson tossed a big game, tossing 5.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits.

On the hitting side, Alexandra Beldowicz was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one triple. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Alexis Felker, who went 2-for-4 with two doubles and one RBI.

The win made it two in a row for Hagerty and bumps their season record up to 16-6. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of two runs across that stretch. As for Viera, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 14-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hagerty will square off against Mount Dora at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Viera, they will take on Eau Gallie at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Commodores will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Hawks surely won't give up without a fight.
