Softball Recap: Payson Falls Short of Bear River in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Payson can now relate to. They lost 10-0 to the Bear River Bears on Tuesday. The Lions haven't had much luck with the Bears recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Payson's loss dropped their record down to 22-7. As for Bear River, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 30-2.

Coincidentally, Payson and Bear River will both be playing Ridgeline the next time they take the field. The Lions will head out to face the Riverhawks at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, while the Bears will play them later in the day, at 12:30 p.m.
