Baseball Recap: Baker Comes Up Short

Baker lost to Central back in March and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Gators lost 15-2 to the Jaguars. The Gators have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Baker saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Wyatt Straight, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Baker's record now sits at 13-9. As for Central, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Baker will challenge Navarre at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Central, they will square off against L.E.A.D. Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
