Softball Recap: Menomonee Falls Takes a Loss

If Menomonee Falls was riding high fresh off their 21-0 takedown of Wauwatosa West on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Phoenix lost 12-6 to the Homestead Highlanders on Tuesday.

Alex Selear made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. Kylee Schellhaas was another key player, getting on base in two of her four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.

Menomonee Falls' defeat dropped their record down to 10-16. As for Homestead, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 13-7.

As of now, neither Menomonee Falls nor the Highlanders have any future games scheduled.
