Cherokee came tearing into Monday's match with six straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Pisgah Bears as they made off with a 3-0 win. That's more bragging rights for the Braves, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Cherokee's got stronger as the match went on, holding Pisgah to fewer and fewer points set over set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-14, 25-13.

Cherokee found their leader in sophomore Lilly Lossiah, who had 11 digs and four aces. Another player making a difference was Kennedy Moore, who had four digs and two aces.

Cherokee's record is now 20-8. As for Pisgah, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-9 record this season.

Cherokee has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Blue Ridge Early College on the 30th. Pisgah has also already played their next match (against Tuscola), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
