Polson is 9-1 against Libby since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Polson Pirates will host the Libby Loggers at 4:00 p.m. Libby took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Polson, who comes in off a win.

Last Thursday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Polson beat Bigfork 47-41.

Meanwhile, Libby was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They were dealt a 75-39 loss at the hands of Columbia Falls. While losing is never fun, the Loggers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Montana basketball rankings (they are ranked 119th, while the Wildcats are ranked 14th).

Polson's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-6. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.3 points over those games. As for Libby, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-11.

Polson strolled past Libby when the teams last played back in January by a score of 66-50. Does Polson have another victory up their sleeve, or will Libby turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
