Football Recap: Cedar Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Cedar lost to Dixie back in October of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Reds narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Flyers 16-13. The victory was just business as usual for the Reds, who after three games remain undefeated this season.

Among those leading the charge was Everett Kelling, who threw for 160 yards and a pair of TDs. Braxton Demille handled things on the ground, rushing for 81 yards.

Cedar's record now sits at 3-0. As for Dixie, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cedar will square off against Logan at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Dixie, they will take on Layton Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
