Baseball Recap: St. John's Christian Academy Falls to Orangeburg Prep in First Game of Season

St. John's Christian Academy kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They lost 11-1 to the Orangeburg Prep Indians. The Cavaliers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Indians from their previous meeting back in March of 2024.

St. John's Christian Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sumter Moorer, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

The victory (which was Orangeburg Prep's third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Looking ahead, St. John's Christian Academy will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against First Baptist School at 7:00 p.m. As for Orangeburg Prep, they will venture away from home to face off against Edisto at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday.
