Football Recap: Firth Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Firth had lost three straight at home, but on Friday they dropped down to 2-7 to make it four. They had to suffer through a 48-6 loss at the hands of the West Jefferson Panthers. The Cougars were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 28-6.

As for West Jefferson, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-1. Considering they have won six contests by more than 20 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

West Jefferson had a senior duo take command as Justus Burtenshaw rushed for 238 yards and three TDs on only 11 carries and Mac Hall gained 214 total yards and three touchdowns. With that strong performance, Hall is now averaging an impressive 100.6 rushing yards per game.

Firth does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for West Jefferson, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 21-6 defeat against North Fremont on the 24th.
