St. Pius X had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 15-run drubbing they dealt Bishop Ward on Tuesday. The Warriors blew past the Cyclones 15-0. The win was familiar territory for the Warriors, who have now won five matchups in a row dating back to last season.

Frank Kirchhoff looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.

At the plate, Tavian Ladenthein was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Logan Latier, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple.

St. Pius X always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .786. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Bishop Ward only posted an OBP of .182.

St. Pius X's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.
